The ten species
Every species, with its markings and the coats it hatches in.
There are ten species. Which one you get is decided when your egg hatches, and it is fixed for that Jeli's life.

The colours themselves are on Coats.
What differs#
Looks. Body shape, crest, marking and coat.
Accent. Each species pronounces Jeli slightly differently, with a few consistent sound substitutions. The words are the same words. See How Jeli works.
What doesn't differ#
Species doesn't affect appetite, learning speed, hearts, or what a Jeli can do.
You can't choose your species or re-roll it. See Hatching your egg.
